They where putting fires. Its NOT about saving the Forests! Its about the huge amount of precious metals, Niobium, precious stones... Foreign Companies used to smuggle it out of the Country by the thousands of Tons every year. Brazil uses barely 9% of the whole land for agriculture. Brazil has the biggest preserved forest on the planet. And since last year our President sent in the military to take care of all problems. We have also a new Program called Adopt a Rainforest, Parks, etc... Where big donors can invest directly in the preservation and amplification! of the forests. If a farmer is caught invading the protected area and burns it down, he is obliged to replant the area, putting it back to its former state of preservation. President Bolsonaro is a Trumplike Guy. He gets things done.
