Vet here, I guess I am a leech for putting my life on pause for 5 years, staying away from my family, missed so many good times, contact with loved ones, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, to travel halfway around the world and work 14-16 hours for a paycheck comparable to a mc-donalds entry level salary while in a hectic and dangerous environment. I didn't ask for any of the benefits, I earned them. The only one I really used was my post 9-11btw, I finished my schooling and re-entered civil society, and private industry work force. Edit: I love this country and I would do it all over again, great people in the armed forces. Freedom is worth it, even if morons ruin it for everyone else.
