It seems to me, that while the current pandemic is completely exaggerated, there is likely to come a wave of something much more deadly. The virus is not presently very deadly, mostly attacks people at death's door and responds very well to widely available treatment protocols (Ivermectin, HCQ, etc). My concern is what comes next. Isn't it the case, that we have a risk of millions of people being incompletely vaccinated and become a breeding ground for new, more virulent strains of the virus?

Since the vaccines require multiple shots, and the shots are quite spaced out, we are going to have a lot of people who are not fully vaccinated.

Is this a legit concern? I'm an idiot in this area, and so I ask. Can you put this question and answer in geek-ese?
