It wouldn’t make sense to pause based on that, and I’ll tell you why.

Let’s say I injected a 100% safe placebo into tens of millions of people, and then set up a system with the same situation as VAERS:

  1. Anyone can report for anything they might believe is a side-effect, regardless of their medical expertise.
  2. Medical people are required to report anything that happens after a vaccine when they can’t rule it out immediately (like a gunshot wound).
  3. Every report is published to the public without being verified.

Then you know what would happen? There would be thousands of reports. Even if people KNEW they were given a safe placebo, there would still be thousands of reports in the system. Lots of illness. Lots of death.

Why?

Because I gave my placebo to tens of millions of people. Some people died randomly. Some people got sick randomly. Because out of tens of millions of people, some people will be sick and dead every single day.

All of them could end up in my VAERS, and by the rules of my system, SHOULD be in my report.

Even though we know for a fact that the placebo I gave them was 100% safe. Even though I know not a single report has anything to do with my placebo.

If there WEREN’T thousands of reports of my perfectly safe placebo possibly causing side effects, it means my system is broken, because people are supposed to be reporting EVERYTHING that happens after the placebo.

Is this making sense?

Literally every single report in the real VAERS system could have absolutely nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to do with the vaccine. Every vaccine out there could be 100% safe.

And VAERS would still be showing thousands and thousands of reports. Because of the three items I listed above.

There will never, ever be anywhere close to zero reports in a system like that. Because it isn’t taking verified data. It’s collecting data TO BE VERIFIED.

Your argument is akin to demanding that AR-15’s be immediately banned because a survey we took showed that some people think they’re scary and kill millions of people every year. The fact there is a report that people are claiming this doesn’t mean that it’s verified.

Unfortunately, the stuff that HAS been verified is the stuff you guys think is disinformation. The stuff released by the CDC is the result of people processing data from VAERS and other sources and determining that the vaccines appear to be dangerous only to a vanishingly small part of the population.

I get that people around here distrust that, and that’s your right. But if you’re distrusting it based on VAERS numbers, then you’re basing it on a misunderstanding of what VAERS actually is and how that data is used.

Your company, and most others, are going off the data that has been processed by people who know how to do so. You can argue that everyone should interpret the raw data and decide for themselves, but the VAERS data is not the raw data that is going to help you do that.
