This doesn't make it any better, but you are right and you're sure in the hell not alone. I believe most of us have some sorta story like this.

When all is said and done hopefully they all will ( and especially the youngsters ) will realize you were the only beacon of truth and courage.

We are all now victims of the Greatest Crimes Against Humanity we've ever known, and even with all of the slings and arrows you continued to lead.

I hope ur hubby is one those that it doesn't effect ( no one knows long term ) negatively. Better yet, hope he comes to his senses first, but TV and Fear are powerful weapons unfortunately.

I would say use facts or even their own idols words against them, but that didn't work for me 100's of times. They are addicted and need to hold on to some kind of fear - chivi or otherwise.
