I don't understand what you know about Dr. Ron Paul. His level of power as you put it was EARNED. He didn't play the game. If he did he would have been President and not have the GOP STEAL THE NOMINATION FROM HIM. His nick name around Capitol hill was Dr. No. He is as honest a politician as there ever was. He was compared to a modern version of Thomas Jefferson truly an exception to our ruling class. Read some of his books. He was for reducing the size of government and wanted to abolish the fed and shut down useless government agencies such as the department of education, energy and others. He is in no way corrupt.
