I just went to my first school board meeting last night. 95% of the parents there were anti-mask. We even had a parent who was a microbiologist from Case Western speak about how masks are useless. I'm not a public speaker, but I felt it necessary to voice my stance and facts on the matter. Got into it with one masker. He ranted on and on and on about his safety and his kids safety. I pointed out that he was masked in a room of 250 maskless people and he felt safe enough to be there; his kids should do the same. Mask if you want to, but don't make that choice for me and my children. School board took the coward's way out, as they were supposed to vote last night, and shelved the vote for another day. It was obvious they knew how they were going to vote, but were intimated by all the parents who were there to show there displeasure for mask and contact tracing quarantines.
