But on March 21 the government announced that it had learned from data coming from Italy and Germany that the vaccines had killed large numbers of people.

"The vaccine was rejected by the majority of Ghanaians, even though the president urged them to get it."

"Just today, sad news came from Germany and Italy reporting that the covid-19 vaccine is killing a large number of people in those countries.

President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, who is still alive and still the president, urged his people early this year to reject the vaccines, and the people did reject them.
