I have to have agreed to be in a control group. I cannot be put into a control group without my knowledge, because I can't participate in a controlled drug experiment without my knowledge. That's "crimes against humanity" territory, even if it's just saline.

When they do cancer drug trials, people who are getting the placebo KNOW that there is a possibility they're getting a sugar pill. It's in the contract they would sign for informed consent. They don't know if they got a sugar pill, but they agreed to the possibility in writing.

If I did not sign a document that informed me of the potential that I could get a placebo drug, they cannot legally inject me with a placebo drug.

I did not sign a document consenting to the possibility of a placebo. So it would be illegal to give me one.
