We are the ONLY species that self polices reproduction. Higher domain mammals with no sin infanticide with no hesitation if there's no viability. The mother itself decides it if the environment and resources are not sufficient and the offspring has no chance at survival.

Am I suggesting post term abortions should be legalized? No. Not at all. There's adoption wait lists a mile long, any near full term or post full term should be adopted. In fact, adoption should be easier for everyone involved. I've seen the process and it's logistical hell for the mother and the people wanting to adopt.

Hard line abortion bans, based on religious precedent and emotional irrationality is forcing a cruel destiny on two animals. Essentially that's what humans are. There is no great pretense to people who have sex on an instinctual level. Sex to humans with no religious code is not constrained in morality and doctrine, and concepts such as "abstinence" and "fornication" don't exist
