Yes,of course some cosmic radiation CAN change data in computers. But I really hope they will use that argument ? Why ? Well it was NOT about one machine anons. It was about all of them. It is physically almost IMPOSSIBLE (means probability so low like timeline with both lenin and hitler being killed in car accidents) and to have such accidents everywhere is even less probable - even in one place it would have to hit in one exact piece of RAM. Most probable result would be some computer error NOT changing election results. Maybe people like reddit mod of our critics u/ARandomOgre not knowing ever a shit about quantum physics would believe such piece of shit that it was byte flipping (If he would be knowing what it is all about XD ),but nobody who knows anything about probability would ever believe this shit. Earth is shielded by its atmosphere,and in space they use ECC and all the shit preventing stations and satellites from such outcomes. Probably.I don't believe people sending satellites to space are such retards to not care about that.
