It’s emotionally and physically damaging, because her mind and body will forever be changed. It’s financially damaging because she likely can’t work and can’t afford to not work. The family helping the mother is also indirectly harmed (if the mother is lucky enough to come from a rich family), because they have to give a shit about a rapist’s baby.
