This is heartbreaking.. I hope something good happens for them soon, poor Aussies are really getting hammered left and right. I have an old friend who lives there, sent me a news article the other day on how they decided unvaxxed kids can have a "bubble buddy" or a friend set they are allowed to hang out with, provided both sets of parents are vaccinated, and don't interact with each other. It's overkill to the max.
