This here. My last flu earlier in the year, I had a gross cough that lasted a week after feeling all better but, did not have any other symptoms and no breathing problems, it cleared up after a bit. However, oximeter is good thing, to monitor oxygen in the case he came down with the v-pneumonia. My son who did end up with v-p (who did not take anything) went to the er but, did not stay in the hospital, he just stayed long enough for them to give him fluids and meds and said hell no, to staying there any more and went back home to deal with it. He started iver at that point but, as well did get the antibody thingie while at hospital for the hours he was there.. was all better by the end of the week, though still physically exhausted for a chunk of days following.
