if anyone already downloaded just add an additional line with:

Can be anywhere but just for neatness sakes add it right above greatawakening.win

edit2: you can customize it adding any site you want, it's pretty simple, you just do "ip-address domain" as seen above, to find the ip for any site you wish to add just ping it, open a command prompt on windows, or terminal on linux and do:

ping whateverwebsite.com/org/win etc

the address will be in the response.

You can open the file with any text editor, and you do one per line.

Quite honestly I think that if the whole thing does go down it would be doubtful that just a simple hosts file would solve it, since I don't think it would be just DNS, BUT it can't hurt to have it at hand.
