Wife and I caught it in August 2021. I did fine with just vitamin c, d, zinc, soup tea and rest. Two days of fever and was largely okay within 4 days of first symptom. Did have a day about 6ish where real bad anxiety (never had before) and a feeling of vertigo. Seemed to be from trying to get back to work too fast and too many phone calls.

Wife experience was different. Had a fever for 10 days (although capped at 102). Never really get aches and pains and rested nearly the entire time. Took same stuff as me plus ivermectin. Day 10 woke up to go bathroom and had a coughing fit that scared the shit out of me. Oxygen showed 88 (we have one of those oxometers). Rushed to ER where the doctor was just going to prescribe inhaler and send her home. We requested an x-ray, blood work, and since it was day 10 the regeneron. Fortunately we already new this hospital offered it.

X-ray showed pneumonia in one lung. Did the regeneron iv on site. Sent home with prescriptions of prednisone (steroid), azithromycin (antibiotic - aka zpac), bentotate (cough suppressant), and abuterol inhaler with diamond chamber. First day after er was ok, fever gone, but using inhaler. Next morning had another coughing fit, but oxygen was 94, and inhaler resolved. By the next day she was fully recovered with oxygen 98-99, no fever, and no trouble breathing.

I’m not sure if it was one thing or all those things that worked, but other than regeneron, the other items are simple prescribed items that cost a total of like $40 after insurance, and yet the doc was just going to send her home with just an inhaler without checking anything.

Hope you do well, definitely would recommend you consider the items my wife took. Also, recognize that you might have to ask for them, because some docs/nurses are not interested in prescribing them initially. This doc actually had the audacity to question whether we wanted an X-ray claiming it was just unnecessary radiation, and yet it showed pneumonia. He also tried to argue with her that she was past 10 days for regeneron, but she did maths on him and he conceded.
