Pray for Camp Yesu
Please pray for the Christian Camp (Camp Yesu) that God has placed on my heart for my husband and I to start to come into being. It will be in a resort/working ranch setting and will rescue, house, rehabilitate, mentor, witness to/lead to Christ, provide Christian education for (elementary school through college) teach job skills for Homeless, addicted, abused, trafficked, enslaved, orphaned and at risk young children through young adults. This place would arranged (organized rescue missions of trafficked and enslaved have church (non denomination) counseling, rehabilitation, life skills, homesteading skills and animal husbandry, adventure camp skills. Having had a homeless alcoholic dad for twenty five years following a job accident that broke his back in several places and never healed, God placed homelessness on my heart and five years ago the Lord told me one morning to begin this camp (10 years after my husband wanted to begin one for underprivileged kids and I had had no interest whatsoever). I sat down with my head flooded with ideas and began writing and next thing I knew, I had an eight page business plan drawn up. I began researching 501c3 (non profit) program grants and loans. A friend suggested working in a camp first for experience to see if such a grandeous idea was still something we still wanted to do. Our family sold our home and closed our business and took a job at a Christian Camp and just into it my husband had an aortic dissection and I nearly lost him. We worked several months more until it became too strenuous on his health and we had to resign but we really loved the job. One year later, he had aortic stenosis surgery. We worked that job in 2018 and beginning Camp Yesu tugs at my heart stronger every day. My request is prayer for the direction, means, location, supply, staff, clergy, buildings, animals and those who have the need for this and I know there are so so many. Currently I/we have no means or contacts or direction to move forward. Thank you,
