My friend whom normally understand complex issues (borderline conspiracy) was asking me to get the jab (concerned about my well-being), so we started moving into data, survival rates and Israel/Singapore high vacc and high Covid death etc, and she effectively said she refused to accept anything not pro-vax. It was painful, but she eventually said

"What do you want me to do about it? I can't take out the vaccine!"

I said, "no, of course not".

We agreed to put this issue behind us and get along great till this day. But like you said, people already know, but it's too painful to accept that you have been lied to.
