After my stroke last year, caused by an ortho doctor who gave me a med I never should have been given, my other drs jumped in with more drugs. I was physically weak, my speak slurred again, chronic headaches and muscle pain. I used to work for a pharmaceutical company cataloging adverse events, so I was very familiar with that. I researched my new Meds and eventually pitched them all in the trash. The meds were causing nasty symptoms…so that I was being treated for those symptoms with other meds. I feel great now, and all of the adverse effects are gone. I take supplements and I’ve become my own doctor, sort of.
