I appreciate the response.

I very much like your thinking. Sadly, many have forgotten or not paid attention to the words in scripture. E.g. John 5:39-40

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

I mean what is that if not a lesson. It's NOT the scriptures. It's what we can learn through them that counts. And they are nothing more than an aid to come directly to a build a living relationship with Christ, which should naturally include asking: "Is He speaking to me now? What does he want me to see? To understand? What if my way of thinking is all wrong? How can I see better to come closer? Teach me, Lord. Teach me!" Etc. Many do not do this because they are afraid. I get that, but it also holds them back.

Yesseree, "Current understanding level" is really key to all this. When Christ arrived, he brought a level of understanding basically no one at the time could easily comprehend. Certainly those clinging to the scriptures at that time rejected him and even crucified him!

Why do Believers think that they would be immune to the same mistakes? Is that humble? What if so much of the teaching from Jesus is actually a preparation for us to have the right mind to recognize when he returns, or to prepare the right heart and spirit so that we would recognize when he returns? Otherwise, why on earth would he say:

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ Matt 7:23

What if when he comes, he'll teach us things that up until now, would couldn't even imagine? Will we be open? Humble? Or might we reject him?

In other words, even after Christ returns, there will be those who THINK they are doing everything he wants but in fact are doing the opposite. I mean, they prophesied, they drove out demons, they performed miracles. Why on earth - or how on earth - could he say, "I never knew you"?

Is would only really be possible if they reject him because he doesn't fit in their limited understanding, just as the Jewish leaders in Jesus day thought they were upholding Moses laws, but in fact, failed to recognize and embrace the very one that Moses was preparing them for.

If you had believed Moses, you would believe Me, because he wrote about Me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say? John 5:46

Compare with Matt 7:23. How on earth could Jesus say they did NOT believe what Moses wrote? Didn't they fast, uphold the law? What's going on here?

What if Jesus is saying, you may be practicing the letter of the law, but you have forgotten the spirit, and paid no attention to the REAL purpose and meaning of upholding Moses laws: which is to purify yourselves to prepare for me! So that you recognize and work with me!

Thus, if Christians pray, prophesy, perform, cast out, all in Jesus name, but when he returns, they fail to recognize him, reject him, and ever persecute him, what would happen? That's the only real way that Matt 7:23 makes real sense, at least, in connection with other scripture and Jesus own time.

That's how he comes as a thief in the night. When a thief comes, he comes quietly, unbeknownst to the owners of the house. Then, after he has done his work, and departed, they wake up in the morning and BANG! we've been robbed! They only realize it after the fact.

What if Christ returns, like a thief, and only a few who are awake and have the right heart of preparation (the kind of sincere, longing heart a bride might have for, say, her future husband), they recognize Christ, unite with Christ, work with him, are resurrected (purified, sanctified, and cleansed, this coming closer to God out of darkness), and Christ does all his work, so that the Satanic world begins to collapse, and then, at some point, later on, after everyone else wakes up, only then they start to see "Oh, yeah" Wow. NOW I see! NOW I can see!" Wait... That was HIM???? oh, I never knew....

That would fulfill the scriptures. I mean, if Christ came now or anytime during the past 100 years, there would be photos, video, maybe talked about in the newspapers, on the news. I mean, every one would "see" him, even if they did not recognize him. And what if he was slandered, opposed, and only a small number (say, 144000?) actually recognized him? Then, when everyone actually found out, later on, after the night (of the "thief") had passed and dawn struck, and said "Hey, I was a faithful believer! I prayed! I went to Church! I cast our demons!" but just like the Israelites, they had mistaken the time of their visitation and failed to render him aid or support, or even worse, persecuted him? What would Christ then say?

On that day....

The lesson here is to have the heart of questioning, the heart of searching, for Jesus and for Christ and in longing for his return with a sincere heart. Do people simply long for Jesus return so that he will magically fix everything for them? Do they look for Jesus arrival to relieve them of difficulty? If its all about them, then is THAT how you great the one who has given his life over and over for you?

No, we should long to meet, him, yearn to meet him, be in tears wanting to meet him and be with him. Please let me know when you come! Please don't let me miss you! I don't care about my reward! I don't care about my own life! I only long to be with you! To be there with you, and to help you in all that you come to do!

With that heart, Christ will transcend time and space to be with you. Even if he is not arrived in the world, he will be with you everyday, and your connection will deepen. Then, if he DOES arrive when you are around, you'll be automatically drawn to his presence through the vibration of true love.

Consider: Jesus disciples did not understand him. They ONLY reason they followed him, clung to him, is because of the pull of true love they directly experienced with him, in his presence.

And, if Christ has come already, with that heart, you will naturally be led to find him.

I mean, if Christ IS sending back communication through time to us, via quantum computing or anything else, HOW would we know? We would know because of the vibrational wavelength we are tuning into. This is why "everyone" will see him, but not everyone will recognize him! It's in the heart connection we are meant to establish. That's everything.

Love transcends all. If we are limited in our understanding (which we ALL should recognize we are), it is the vibration of love that will guide us. And you cannot tune into the vibration of love if you are arrogant, or unwilling to be humble enough to recognize "I must be open to what other things I can learn, things I have no idea of now".
