People have commented about this tons of times and nobody ever listens. Mods should update the text on the "CREATE A POST" page asking submitters to post archives whenever possible.
If any of you use Firefox, I suggest the Multi-Account Containers extension. You can define your own containers and add domains to it, which isolates your cookies. For example, create a "Fake News" container and add msnbc.com, nyt.com, msn.com, etc. Then those sites can't access any of your data outside of the container. It's not a perfect solution, but it helps.
There are also browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox that add one-click archiving to your toolbar, for both archive.is and archive.org.
