There's a difference between intelligence and wisdom. Wisdom governs Logic garnered from experience. Logic is often cast aside because of narcissistic tendency to rely on "what I know" instead of "what I've experienced". Never good.

I've known some incredibly smart people in my time on this Earth, but they didnt know enough to pour piss out of a boot; i.e. zero common sense (wisdom). So smart they knew nothing.

If a person is intelligent AND wise, that would be someone to listen to; e.g. Thomas Sowell, Jordan Peterson, etc...
