Bitcoin definitely is a scam. Every single transaction you make and every single wallet amount is available on a public ledger.
The only crypto that I think is worth anything is Monero. It's a completely anonymous cryptocurrency.
That said, all cryptos have little to no intrinsic value so I think the only safe choice in this environment is physical gold and silver. According to the Constitution that's all that can be money anyway.
EDIT: lastly, in that interview you linked Trump said he wants "the dollar" to be the currency of the world. The Constitution defines a dollar as 371.25 grains of pure silver. Hasn't Trump said he believes in the Constitution "as written"?
