Father Time = Cronos. Cronos = Saturn. The symbol for Cronos is Kappa Rho, "KRo(nos)". He is often represented as a Cross, or with the Kappa Rho symbol (astrology).

This is why you see these symbols showing up in "both places". KRonos. KRoss. This is a very old symbol. So... did Catholics subvert the old symbol, or did worshippers of Cronos overtake the nascent Catholic Church? You can do your own research on that.
