People ask "why did he pull the trigger if it wasn't in the scene?" He was handed a prop gun out of scene. I would start playing with one immediately upon handing it to me. Hell, I've thought about buying one to play with when I'm drunk lol

The responsibility is on the party that handed someone a weapon that was operational under the assumption that it was not.
