I will prefer someone who doesn't care if I trust them, no matter where they stood before. The argument is the argument is the argument. The evidence is the evidence is the evidence. If I ask a doctor for something, I will listen to their argument and I will do my own research. I don't give a fuck what their credentials are (also a part of the Matrix). I don't give a fuck what they did before coming to an awakening. What they have to say in the moment is all that matters. And it only matters as far as my research after they present their argument, and what they say in rebuttal to my rebuttal, etc.

Actions have consequences, no matter what the rationale is.

A persons credentials are irrelevant. A person is the person they are in the moment. I will never trust another person again (not counting an emergency situation where I don't have time to do research).
