Hi AB!! I’ve missed you! Where’ve you been? To answer your question from my info and opinion both New York and California are not overall bad states. Outside of New York City, the State of New York is still relatively quiet and safe. And outside California’s L.A. and Bay Areas, California is more conservative and very safe as well. I live in the farther north end of Northern California. From Marysville, Ca, all the way to the Oregon Border, and even up into Bend Oregon is mostly a solid heavily armed red/conservative region. The whole backbone of California, up/down the mountains along Hwy 395 is fully armed and conservative as well. But both have very Liberal governments that have assumed much more power in the last decade. So the media paints them as the Liberal utopias, even though their true liberal areas are only like 5-10% of each’s land mass. Unfortunately along with that, 60% plus of their populations are politically DemoLibs.
