I have no, and I mean NO evidence of this, but I suspect Dan sacrificed him. Dan was openly onboard with the whole Crystal Skull, aliens and occult thing ages before it was as mainstream as it is these days. Granted, his career never took off like it could have, so maybe he didn't play along. Who knows. I shouldn't gossip, but here we are. 😉
