This is fairly old technology. Conditioned people are much like regular hypnotized people in that they can be made to respond to trigger words or audio coming by any means. However, in MKUltra people the split personalities are deeper and much more lasting, maybe permanent splinters, due to major trauma that normal hypnosis doesn't cause.
