The article says that the spokesman for Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt stated that there is no intent to appeal. Even though AG Schmitt was obligated to defend the state in this case, he is vehemently against the public health mandates and has been pursuing legal remedies against them in other cases. Therefore, in principle he will agree with this judgment. Because the AG will not seek appeal of this case, there will be no challenge to it and it will permanently stand as the law.
