I'd like to believe this presentation, but it doesn't add up. It's comparing apples to oranges with the insignias, because most of the overcoats of soldiers don't have ranks or insignia on them, and overcoats is what they're wearing at Biden inauguration, while at the other inaugurations they are wearing their uniform jackets which of course have the insignia on them. Compare to the Trump 21 gun salute soldiers who are also wearing overcoats and thus do not show insignias. So that point is not at all compelling. Sure, the Biden 21 salute is pretty weak and takes place as he's arriving, so that's strange. It's true that what was televised was a splicing of two previous rehearsals and that the actual day of the inauguration had totally different weather. There are horrible continuity errors between the two versions that were spliced together. He was sworn in too early. All that is true. But the insignia point doesn't help the case.
