How long do you think the SA had 'paid staff'?

It was founded around 1880. Originally, a 'volunteer army'.

Unsure of when it was corporatized, and then actually had paid staff, but it sure did not start out this way. In Australia, the SA has done amazing work for hundreds and millions, for decades and decades.
