In western countries there is NO starving. Why? Because we have safety nets. Ask what happened in Venezuela. The average person in the first year lost 20 pounds. They ATE the zoo animals. This is SHTF reality. BARTER is good, and people will want salt, sugar, alcohol, diapers, meds. fuel etc. Silver (dimes, nickels pre ‘65 as they have 90% silver content) can fill that void. If you read the JOURNALS that people kept in Venezuela and other countries that experienced a tyrannical takeover, people didn’t go out for fear of being killed. You didn’t show your face. You didn’t attract attention. How will you feed hungry little children? They made sure no light was visible from the street, moving to the middle/back of homes and painting (blacking) out the windows. What food that was sourced was eaten midday and cooking smells were masked. Look up Dakota fire pit. The National Geographic did 2 docos where they weaved storylines around actual blackouts in the USA and Britain.
