Edit: We've failed them as parents, grand parents, aunts, and uncles, and teachers. The generation you see in the meme are from Gen X/Baby Boomer parentage. This is OUR fault. We let it happen, either thru sheer ignorance of the truth, or complacency, or laissez-faire parenting, or combo of all 3. This is on us to fix, as a result.

I have hope and faith we will succeed in our collective endeavours here, though. My adult children (and their friends) have shown me that not all of the kids from this generation are screwed up like this. I didn't raise them to be this way.

4 boys, each with about 5-7 close friends in their circles, and 95% of those friends are based and know what the truth is about our society. I know, because I've taught them, especially if I've seen that their parents failed them in this aspect. And they've gone on to educate others outside of their circles.

What I see is a bright future for us. How we get there depends on our actions NOW. You can't just focus on your own kids. You have to help educate their friends, too. That's what "It take a village to raise a child" means.
