I have no idea whether there are any restrictions still in Utah. We've had restrictions lifted on a gradual basis since the end of May. We are still being very cautious, although fully vaccinated, and go out to food shop, to doctors, hospital appointments or pharmacy. Other than that we're gardening and walking. Our Bridge Club has been online every Tuesday since last October. We have not yet braved going to the UK to our family there, but we were in Northern Ireland 2 weeks ago to see our daughter, xxxx and her family. Our youngest two grandchildren there, aged xx and xx, have had numerous Covid tests - every time there is a positive case in the nursery they go to, usually members of staff, but sometimes the children in their "bubbles". Fortunately, none have been positive yet. Our son in the UK had Covid about 5 weeks ago. He was fully vaccinated so fortunately just had 2 days when he felt he had flu. He had no symptoms but he was alerted as he has to do twice weekly antigen tests for his work and had a positive one, so then had to have a PCR test which was also positive.
My response to Ireland yesterday:
Here in the US things are very different. We don't like the data we are seeing coming in on these mRNA injections and we are fighting all mask mandates and vaccine mandates and "passports" - like mad. Half the US is starting to push back against the politicians and the health "authorities" and they've barely begun the pushback. Normally, when a regular antibody-producing (polio, measles, etc) vaccine goes to trial, the trial stops when they hit 50 deaths. There have been thousands of deaths and many thousands of bad reactions to the mRNA treatment, which is not the typical run of the mill vaccine. We are seeing unusually high rates of myocarditis and heart problems among young people who have gotten this injection. We are angry here and the anger is building. The health "authorities" have been flip flopping their positions and keep moving the goal posts on what the population should be subjected to. One clown even said at one point we should wear two masks. Our health organizations are also discontinuing use of the PCR test because they've known from the beginning it is not reliable. In fact one of the inventors of the PCR test said it wasn't meant to be a diagnostic tool because you can find "anything" with it if you run it long enough. Many parents are withdrawing their children from public schools and home schooling them so their children won't be made to wear masks and be subjected to propagandized curriculums. People are suing their employers for firing them for not getting the mRNA injection. I could go on forever. There is a lot happening here the news will never tell you about. It's like living in a pressure cooker about to explode.

Things sound very different where you are to Ireland. We think our politicians and chief medical officer have done a very good job so far. The road map for the lifting of all restrictions is to be published by the beginning of September, although it is likely that it will be December before all restrictions are fully lifted.
This is EVEN though a 23 year old STAR SOCCER PLAYER IN IRELAND RECENTLY DIED, A FEW DAYS AFTER GETTING THE VACCINE !!!
My husband is telling me don't bother with a response. It won't make a bit of difference.
