When I worked for a bloodbank, we had a question about a smallpox vaccine, there was a temporary deferral even if you came into contact with the site of another person's smallpox vaccine, I think you had to wait eight weeks. Granted a plasma center is a bit different than a NFP bloodbank, but that was on our questionaire I believe most of the time I worked there, from 2001-2018.
