I would suggest that Wuhan scientists started with a garden variety 'flu' and enhanced it. None of our bodies had been exposed to the enhanced features (some maybe even 'bat based'), which is why it cut through the US in such a distinct pattern (in the cities, then fanned out to the rural areas), but would also explain why the PCR would pick up SARS base. The altered features might explain the differing symptoms among people here, but the base still appears to be seasonal flu. The fact that our bodies have 't ever seen some of the new features would suggest why the respiratory attacks are so fierce, and why the 'loss of smell/taste' seem new, as compared to what we've experienced in a regular flu or cold. Add that to 38% of Americans being clinically obese, you can see why the death toll is so high. The goal wasn't to kill us with this 'flu' (they needed an illness that could plausibly occur in the wild) but it was to create this hysteria and narrative to cripple economies and sell the jabs.

I think several entities are gaining - each in their own way. Big Pharma $$, China weakening their economic and political enemies, DS gaining forced control over the populations (everywhere. Poor Australia and others), world economic DS gaining political and enhanced financial leverage over previously self-sufficient countries financial systems. In their eyes, the human cost is just cost of doing business.
