You might notice that King Edward the 8th's cancelled coronation date and King George the 6th's coronation are the same. That's because Edward was replaced by George.

I suspect given Edward the 8th had a birthday with (6/2) they had intended him to be a ruler, but hated how he turned out. Elizabeth wasn't originally meant to be the Queen, but they liked how she turned out and their plans changed. That's why she became queen on a 2/6 and coronated on a 6/2.

Prince William has a 6/2 birthday because he's meant to succeed Elizabeth as a long-term King.

Charles was never meant to be anything more than a placeholder at best so he shares a connection to the birthday of Prince Albert and King George the 6th (who I suspect had also not been their original choice for King until Edward the 8th didn't work out).
