I used to build signs out of osb, and 2x2s much cheaper.

You can buy 4x8 billboard paper online,and glue them up.

Drive in two t posts, then slide the sign down on it.

Cost 150 each max,build 10 easy in a day with 2 people.

Edit,it was 1/8 tempered Masonite on the sides.
