Rome?

As in Roman Civil Law??

Like the Roman Civil Laws that are now American Civil Laws???

Yeah, since Lincolns War, and the Reconstruction Amendments, we have been slowly Reconstructed into the New Romans, and we have been Replacing our Constitutional Republic with something that looks one hell of a Lot like Neros Rome, blended with Napoleans France, but with the Edicts of the Vile English Kings....

We HAD the potential to be the Top Civilization to have ever existed, then the Regressive ""Progressives"" got power, and began to destroy all of the Good things about our Constitutional RepublicS....

They literally used a WAR, wherein we were TRICKED into kicking our own asses, and subjugating our Various Republics, in order to bring in the RECONSTRUCTION of the Body of the CONTRACT known as the U.S. Constitution.....

We were better off under the articles of Confederation, but, it is what it is....

All I can state is that in order to understand what we once HAD, and how that is way different from what we currently HAVE, one needs to read, at a minimum, all the books by Emmerich de Vattel titled Law of Nations, and then the Catechism of the United States Constitution version 1, and then realize that what we Have, is nowhere near what we were Promised.....

We've been blended into something like Spartans + Romans, + other gargantuan Marauding militaries of the past....

Only posterity can judge us fairly, for what we do to correct what has been Perverted and Aberrated by our past Criminal Politicians.....

We have not had ""Statesmen"" in our Governmental Offices for many Decades, and at this time, it LOOKS like we may be finally, correcting that problem....

Politicians = Bureaucrats, bunch of anti-freedom do nothings....

Statesmen = Pro-freedom, anti-red tape, anti-socialism, anti-WOKE.....

Do we have the Opportunity and the Potential to be THE Greatest Civilization ever??

Yes, yes we do.....
