To the downvote: Do you really think that someone who is 17 years and 364 days old suddenly becomes different hours later? No, of course not. There is a big difference between a child, an adolescent and an adult. At just about 18 years of age, society has decided you are an adult. A pedophile is a pedophile because of their attraction to a child; a 17 year old doesn't physically grow much more, male and female alike. So if the dude is a pedophile for a 17 year old, then congrats; if you've ever been attracted to a woman from 18 to 30 years old then so are you.

I have a special grudge against pedophiles; it's hard to invoke that grudge on a 17 year old's behalf where everyone involved including her parents agreed.
