Also never accidentally fill water balloons with a mixture of black paint and oil because if someone accidently throws those balloons at law enforcement officers wearing riot gear, their transparent shields will become opaque and very difficult to hold wearing oily gloves and firearms also become difficult to operate.

Similarly, the windscreens of riot vehicles that are splashed with oily black paint will render them useless and the windshield wipers will only make it worse. If those armored vehicles are accidentally water-ballooned from the front and behind, the occupants will flee rather than risk driving over their comrades.

Similarly, no law enforcement officer would risk firing a gas grenade, rubber bullets or lethal rounds while they and their comrades are covered with mysterious oily stuff.
