The word "nephilim" literally means giants and refers to human beings of large stature, as people before the Flood were, and as some afterward were, such as Goliath and King Og of Bashan, who was the last of the giants.

I wasn't familiar with Biglino until you mentioned him so I just looked him up. If he was attempting to rewrite the Bible, that's a fatal mistake, whether the Catholic Church agreed with it or not.

Writings outside of the Bible from the 1st and 2nd centuries indicate that it was already generally accepted that there were only four legitimate gospels, namely the ones that are in the Bible. There are no references to reincarnation in any of the oldest surviving copies of the New Testament, nor is it even hinted at in the Old Testament. The Bible is clear that it's not God's plan to reincarnate people, but to resurrect them and give them eternal life.
