I lived in Ottawa from 1990-1994. I went to Gloucester High school. Gloucester, Nepean, Kanata, Osgoode, Vanier, Carleton, and Rideau were ALWAYS part of Ottawa, unless they left in 1994?
Rideau is uptown Ottawa lol. The Rideau Canal is a 5 minute walk from the Parliament buildings. Rideau Centre is literally right across the street from the Parliament buildings. Rideau High School ( Alanis Morrisette went here ) is right uptown as well.
Carleton university is also right up town
