Gun companies CAN be sued. What the fuck is that fucking vegetable talking about?!?! They have protection from liability due to misuse of their product - but so do all manufacturers. You can murder somebody with a sharp pencil, but you can't legally say Ticonderoga is civilly liable for the act.
