I would take you up on your offer if I had the financial means. Sailing from Columbia to NZ on a flat map is basically a straight (well a curved) shot with no land mass in your way, I don't see how you'd end up anywhere you don't expect. If anyone wants to set up the financial side, I would be down to find a crew and give it a go :)
