I can't see how the most asectic book/religion could be Satanic. Judeo-Christianity was an exact response to Paganism which was frought with ritual orgies, magic to control Gods....etc. Pagan Gods were sexual deviants. Pagan Gods didn't love people. So people, likewise, didn't think of anyone outside their group as human. So you could torture the shit out of people and do whatever you wanted in the name of ritual or hedonism. Christianity changed everything.
It's funny you say "Western Christianity". Look up Eastern Christianity aka "Orthodox Christianity". Learn it's history. That's the original Church and it hasn't changed. Roman-Catholicism broke off the original church because it wanted a Pope among other doctrines. It didn't work out well. The corruption pissed off a lot of people, thus creating Protestantism which means anyone can create their own church. It's ridiculous. But to say the Bible is corrupt?
