That would require that the Sheriff's Office suspects that a crime has been committed. They are not to that point, so classifying this as a case at this stage is probably premature. The first link is to Steve Kirsch's newsletter. I do not believe that Steve Kirsch would pass on bad information because he is at least willing to state that this is a legitimate inquiry. But he is skeptical that it will go anywhere. So, I think this effort is going to depend on the public's response as to whether they will move forward - if they do at all.
