I get your point about the current climate, but the overarching point is that we don't need Congress' permission to amend the Constitution. Congressional term limits, abolishing the IRS and replacing it with a National Retail Sales Tax, Balanced Budget Amendment... They can all be accomplished without the swamp in DC, but you're absolutely right, we need patriots to get it done.

Reminder: it's not the delegates at the COS, but rather the state legislatures that vote to amend. You know, like it already does if they get 67 votes in the Senate.
