The attempt to fight....Capitalist Rome............regardless of who 'loses' an ear.......was prescribed AGAINST.
Malthus, servant to high priest Calaphas.........high priest of the Judaic religion which had already split along gnostic/orthodox lines. No Christianity yet exists here. And Jesus is said to have touched the ear and healed it. Somehow, since it had been lopped off.
